Surreal images of the world around us…
I began this set of work with alternate visualizations of places I had seen and photographed. The more I worked with the images the stranger and the more beautiful they became. Some images brought to mind ecological horror like floods, hurricanes, earthquakes. But the colors shapes and patterns still appealed. So that is where the name of the first show - Beautiful Catastrophes - came from. Further work expanded on this theme.
